That’s more than a slogan at C.U.R.A., Inc. It’s a mission that continues to evolve. With the launch of our newly revamped website, we’re making it easier than ever for individuals and families to find the help, information, and community they need to start the journey to recovery.
What’s New on the Site
The revamped layout highlights the full continuum of C.U.R.A.’s recovery services, including:
Residential Treatment — a structured, therapeutic environment for men seeking to break free from addiction.
Recovery Residence — transitional housing that bridges treatment and independent living.
Supportive Groups & Alumni Network — ongoing recovery support that lasts well beyond the first phase of treatment.
We’ve also expanded our About Us section to share C.U.R.A.’s history, leadership, and the philosophy that’s guided our work for more than five decades.
In addition, the new Blog section provides educational and inspiring articles written to support individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. From recovery stories to insights on evidence-based treatment, this growing collection is designed to inform, encourage, and empower.
Built for Accessibility and Connection
C.U.R.A.’s new website was designed with inclusivity in mind. We believe that access to recovery resources should never be limited by technology or language barriers.
At the top right corner of every page, visitors will find an accessibility plugin (blue wheelchair icon) offering a full suite of standard accessibility tools — including text size adjustment, contrast controls, text-to-speech options, and keyboard navigation support. These features make the site easier to navigate for individuals with visual, auditory, or motor challenges.
Right beside it, users will also notice two language flags. Clicking on either flag instantly changes the entire website from English to Spanish, or back again, ensuring that our content is accessible to the diverse communities we serve throughout Alameda County and beyond.
These additions reinforce C.U.R.A.’s mission: providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment and support that truly meets people where they are — both in their recovery journey and in how they access information.
